Christians In Real Estate, or CIRE (pronounced “sire”), is headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii. It is a nondenominational organization and its purpose is to raise the awareness of Christ in the business community and to encourage business people to be Christ-centered in their dealings. CIRE sponsors functions to bring people together to fellowship and to share work and faith experiences.

CIRE was established in 1996 in Honolulu, Hawaii by a loosely formed group of people in the real estate industry. In 1999, the group incorporated as a nonprofitentity and in the same year was designated as a 501(c)3 organization. CIRE sponsors events where leaders from the business, political, and entertainment fields are invited to share their work and faith experiences. CIRE has been blessed tremendously in that the sharing has been inspiring, faith affirming, and attests to the presence of God in our working day lives.

Mission

The mission of CIRE is to encourage the practice of Christian values in our business relationships.

Goals

CIRE operates from the simple premise that we can know God better by sharing our work and faith experiences. By providing an arena for sharing, CIRE hopes to achieve the following:

  1.  Promote business relationships based on biblical values and principles:
  2.  Understand how God works in our lives and how we can better serve him;
  3.  Support each other prayerfully and personally;
  4. Enhance learning and growth in our business and faith, and
  5. Reach into our business community to bring people to Christ.
